As a Sales Specialist, your role will focus on driving customer acquisition for Edgemont Floors’products and services. You would be working independently in the main location stated as 116- 930 West 1 st Street, N. Vancouver, and potentially a number of events focusing on customer acquisition to achieve given objectives.
Promotes/sales/secures orders from existing and prospective customers
Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stockholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate to management as needed.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationship with third parties/vendors.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Manage renovation team.
Oversee renovation team’s projects and bids.
Organize division and distribute tasks to subcontractors needed to complete the project.
Find and access subcontractors.
Ensure subcontractors are providing fair bid through obtaining at least three estimates from different trades.
Generate project leads
View potential jobs.
Present design plan, material selection and job bids.
Support and help the trades through their projects.
Attend GVHBA (Greater Vancouver Home Builder’s Association) meetings if required by employer from time to time.
Maintain good working relationship with vendors and suppliers.
Maintain good working relationship with sub contractors.
Collect and follow up with all payments due to project such as initial payments, deposits, and final payments from the client.
Follow company’s payment procedures for projects under his/her management.
Make sure installers return signed work orders after completion of the job.
Approve all invoices for their under-management projects within 24 hours of receiving the invoices.
Respect, follow and implement all company’s procedures in marketing, sales, accounting, and other administrative and operational areas, including but not limited to cold calling, morning briefings, check in and check out procedures, etc, as ordered by the company.
Supervise the project under management on a regular basis, attend the job sites at least twice, one prior to start and once right at the completion time.
Employee is obliged to perform his/her assigned tasks and shall properly obey the instructions given by supervisors during his/her employment period with the compony. The employee agrees to devote his/her full-time participation to the Employer and is prohibited from involvement or any sort of participation in working with other flooring, construction, and/or renovation companies, third parties, and/or any other individual or entity without Employer’s written approval.
